RX1 Fitness Certifications

Designed by kinesiologists, the RX1 Fitness certifications include everything you need to fully experience your passion for training. You will learn all the technical aspects of training to develop your athletes of all levels, from beginner to expert, in addition to acquiring the foundation of the RX1 Nation community.

And, as becoming an RX1 Fitness licensee opens doors to business creation, each of our certifications includes a component that will help you attain your business objectives. Our trainers share, among other things, professional development concepts such as organization, behaviour, attitude and business management.

Make your way to success with our Level 1 certification, Level 2 and 3 classes, as well as specific classes that will have a real impact on your life and that of your athletes!

TRAINER/RX1 FITNESS NATION
LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATION

Essential to receive RX1 Fitness licensee accreditation, the first level provides you with the tools to implement your group classes. You will discover how to involve yourself more in the RX1 Nation community – the fastest growing Quebec brand in functional and event training.

To ensure consistent quality in line with the brand, we want qualified trainers who follow the same guidelines to prepare the athletes well and instill RX1 Nation’s common values.

Training Plan

8 sections – 24 hours

  • Foundations of RX1 Nation
  • Basic anatomy
  • Basic theories of training
  • Running techniques
  • Weightlifting techniques and RX1 movement standards
  • Nutrition and fat testing
  • Planning of management of an RX1 Nation group class
  • Sales and business opportunities

TRAINER/RX1 FITNESS NATION
LEVEL 2 AND 3 CERTIFICATIONS

Offered as a complement to Level 1, Level 2 and 3 training will help you develop your customized offering as it relates to performance, rehabilitation, recovery and weightlifting techniques.

RX1 also offers possibilities of accreditation for you to specialize and increase your private trainer skills through classes based on your field of interest and your development requirements. Each training gives 3 credits that you can accumulate to get Level 2 and 3 certifications.

Eligible training at Levels 2 and 3

  • Warm-up and movement analysis
  • Anatomy and postural attitude
  • Muscle strength training (dates to be provided)
  • Body composition assessment (dates to be provided)
  • Junior: training with youth and in schools (dates to be provided)
  • Nutrition 2: develop a meal plan based on objectives (dates to be provided)
  • VO2 max assessment: protocol for treadmill and running (dates to be provided)
  • Weightlifting 2 (dates to be provided)
  • Anatomy 2 (dates to be provided)
  • Running techniques 2: running phases (dates to be provided)
  • The Core: core anatomy and importance for the athlete (abdominal belt) (dates to be provided)
  • Private training and client retention (dates to be provided)
  • Physiology of exercise (dates to be provided)
  • Energy system (dates to be provided)

Requirement to obtain Level 2 and 3 certifications

  • Level 2 – 16 accumulated credits
  • Level 3 – 16 accumulated credits
